Agreement to terms
By accessing or using MamaKind at mamakindapp.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
When you create an account or sign in, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
What MamaKind provides
MamaKind is an informational resource about product safety during trying to conceive, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Features may include product browsing, safety checks, editorial curated lists, and personal product lists when you sign in.
User accounts
- You may sign in with Google. See our Privacy Policy for what we store.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
- You may request account deletion by emailing support@mamakindapp.com.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are abusive, fraudulent, or harmful to the service or other users.
Your lists
Personal lists you create are private by default and for your own shopping and research. You retain ownership of the list titles and product selections you add. You grant MamaKind a limited licence to store and display that content back to you as part of the service.
You add products to lists from our catalog, from Check product, or from product pages using Add to list. List pages may link to a Buy on Amazon view that opens affiliate links for items on your list where an Amazon.ca listing is available.
Do not use lists to store illegal content, harass others, or attempt to break or overload the site. We may remove content or restrict access if these terms are violated.
Check product, community products, and AI-assisted summaries
Check product lets you search by name or paste a product URL (including Amazon.ca and certain other retailer sites). We may fetch public product information and use automated tools, including third-party AI services, to suggest ingredient lists and informational safety summaries.
Products added through this flow may appear as community entries marked pending review. Until reviewed by MamaKind, community safety information is preliminary and may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely on it as medical advice or as a substitute for reading the product label and speaking with your healthcare provider.
By submitting a product name or URL for analysis, you confirm you have a lawful reason to look up that product and you understand we may store product metadata (name, brand, ingredients, image URL, and summary) in our catalog to operate the service. Information on MamaKind is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Product safety ratings, AI-assisted summaries, and community-submitted information may be incomplete or outdated. Always read product labels, confirm ingredients, and consult your healthcare provider for decisions that affect your health or your baby's health.

Some links to retailers (including Amazon.ca) are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change our editorial standards, but they help support the site. See our full Affiliate Disclosure.
Amazon affiliate links appear on product pages, curated lists, personal list buy pages, and some check results. Links to non-Amazon retailers you paste into Check product are ordinarily not affiliate links unless we say otherwise on the page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access in a way that burdens our infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
- Reverse engineer or copy substantial parts of the service except as permitted by law
Intellectual property
MamaKind's name, branding, editorial content, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission. Product names, images, and trademarks shown on the site belong to their respective manufacturers and retailers. We display them to help you research products you look up or save; we do not claim ownership of third-party product assets.
If you believe content on MamaKind infringes your rights, contact support@mamakindapp.com with details and we will review promptly.
Disclaimer of warranties
MamaKind is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of safety information, or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MamaKind is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes to the service and terms
We may change features, limits (such as the number of lists per account), or these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when terms change. Material changes may also be noted on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that courts in Ontario, Canada have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of MamaKind, except where consumer protection law in your province requires otherwise.
