MamaKind is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.ca.
When you click a qualifying Amazon.ca link (for example, "View on Amazon" or "Buy on Amazon") and make a purchase, MamaKind may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our affiliate link.
How We Choose Products
Products featured on MamaKind are selected based on their relevance to our audience — women who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or breastfeeding. We review products for safety using publicly available health guidelines and research, including Health Canada guidelines, Canadian Natural Product Numbers (NPNs) where applicable, and evidence from sources such as LactMed (NIH) and MotherToBaby.
Affiliate relationships do not influence our safety ratings, recommendations, or the information we provide. A product rated low will remain rated low regardless of any commission it might generate.
Products you add through Check product or Add to list may be marked as community entries pending editorial review. Preliminary ratings on those items are informational only and are not influenced by affiliate potential.
Which Links Are Affiliate Links
The following are Amazon.ca affiliate links unless we say otherwise on the page:
- View on Amazon buttons on the Products catalog and individual product pages
- View on Amazon or similar buttons on curated lists and editorial shop sections
- Buy on Amazon and per-item Amazon buttons on personal list buy pages (My lists → your list → Buy on Amazon)
- Find on Amazon or secondary Amazon buttons on some Check product results when we link to a specific Amazon.ca listing
We label affiliate links with short notices such as "Affiliate link" or "we may earn a commission" near the button or in the site footer on relevant pages. The global notice at the top of many pages — As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases — also applies site-wide.
Not affiliate links:Links to non-Amazon retailers (for example, a Canadian beauty store you paste into Check product) open that retailer's site directly and are not Amazon affiliate links unless we explicitly say otherwise. Editorial links to Health Canada, MotherToBaby, and similar reference sites are not affiliate links.
